SO LONG 2009, HELLO 2010

Hi all,

I am sure all of you must be excited with the New Year's celebration. I want to wish all of you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! Another year is coming to an end with the new one waiting to burst on to the scene. For most of us, there will be changes. Changes are not all bad. The Standard 1 will be Standard 2, the Standard 6 goes to Form 1 and so on. Whatever the changes may bring, keep an open mind.

For those who still remain where they are, fine. I hope the year will bring all the joy and happiness to you too. I have many things planned this year and I am looking forward to teaching all of you the best that I can. I hear there will be a lot of changes at the centre as well. Lookout for new teachers, classes and books. I will still remain same old teacher Jason but maybe with a little change. LOL.

I will also know my new timetable for 2010 soon, some of you maybe happy and some may not. Any which way, if you need my help just write to me or come and see me. I will be happy to spend my time with you. Remember, for those who can draw, write poetry or essays or take pictures please submit it to me so I can publish it to my Student Life Newsletter.

Now, I am sitting in front of my computer enjoying the last moments of 2009. It has been a eventful year for me and maybe for some of you as well. As the minutes tick away, I just want to thank god for the blessings he has showered on my family and I. Also to the people who helped us in our time of need. I look forward to 2010 as it is a brand new start.

Let's great the new year with a positive mindset and a healthy appetite for work!

GREAT TO SEE YOU ALL!

It was great to be back in KIDDO class. I am sorry that some of you were in A class. As I said, I was just replacing a teacher. Some of you have grown up since I last saw you. I really appreciate how you gave me all your attention in class. It was so nice to get to tell you some stories and hear from you.

I hope that you liked the bookmarks I made for you. Remember to use them.... in books! That's what they are for. I am encouraging you to pick up a book. The secret to learning isn't about how good the teacher is but your interest to learn. No matter how good a teacher he cannot teach to those that don't want to learn.

Being the holidays, I hope that all of you have a lot of fun but remember to keep safe, help around the house and most of all use some free time to read. Okay... enough of me talking. Remember, if you want to ask me anything, just come find me. I'll be happy to help.

See you in class!
